Wow, I might need to hire a blogger, interested?

Sorry for not writing any lengthy articles lately but I’ve been swamped. Had lots of business in my recruiting firm, lots of things going on with the SEO services for search firms and small business, and lots going on with my secret project.

I wish I had a bigger staff so that I could assign someone to write posts for me, but alas, it is not possible. One of my SEO clients has been having the same problem with her recruiting blog. We talked about her time, objectives and the ROI she is getting from her website and blog. We both came to the conclusion that she needed to hire someone to blog for her.

What’s good for her, is another obstacle to my blogging today. I have to train two writers with no blogging experience to help with her articles. So, if you have an inclination to help put together some inspiring content for my blogs, drop me an email… hopefully I’ll have time to read it. 😉

This afternoon, I have every intention of continuing my series on 10 way to blow getting the job. I hope I can get to it.

  1. I would recommend to have guest authors or others that have experience in your field and can relate and write articles.

    Network with other bloggers and start a community, so you have multiple faces and viewpoints!

  2. Hi Dan! Great ideas. I’d love to have some folks as guest authors. Not too many restaurant recruiters in the blog-o-sphere, but I’d be happy to have most any of my readers submit articles. The more the merrier.

    So everyone, consider it an open invitation – submit and article and I’ll happily post it. Plus, I’d be happy to include you in my blog roll and help promote your blog and any specific articles or topics from your blog.

  3. I’m surprised that more people in the similar fields don’t connect on a single blog.
    While it might be an indication of the egos involved, joining on a single blog negates the need to comment back and forth on other blogs, leaving some folks in the dust regarding the full conversation.
    I’d enjoy reading several different voices on restaurant recruiting (or heck, any kind of recruiting), especially when they disagree.
    One of the hardest parts about solo blogging is searching for something new to talk about. Even with a field like mine (funeral service) there are only so many things you can say. I only have SO MANY opinions of my own!
    And while I love it when a person leaves a comment that forwards the conversation (and there aren’t enough comments for the number of readers I have, in my overstated opinion) I can’t help feeling that the conversation is still only between the two of us, since only people who read THAT SPECIFIC POST will see the whole interaction.
    That having been said, I wish I knew more about restaurant recruiting, because I’d love to blog for you!
