It’s official, this is an award winning blog!

If you look closely you can see that there is a new section in the sidebar of the blog called “Awards”. It is down at the very bottom, on the left (which by no means should be taken as an indication of its importance.) You will see a badge there and it says S.O.B. and it comes from my friend Liz Strauss at Successful ^and Outstanding Bloggers. We wear it proudly.

Lest you think we are taking ourselves too seriously here and puffing ourselves up, the reason that I’m posting the story of this award of distinction is to give credit where credit is due. You see, we haven’t really done much of anything to deserve this honor. It is Liz and her giving spirit that deserves the credit. The SOB award is something that she invented, which is not surprising given the incredible level of talent that she possesses. [You can read all about the award on her site by clicking here] She is a wonderfully creative writer and a true contributor to everything good about blogging. She has truly inspired me. It was through her and her network of friends that my Breast Cancer public service campaign become even moderately successful and she and Hsien Hsien Lei teamed up to make sure that I could end my blog strike. If you would like to learn more about Liz, read a great and informative blog, head over to Successful Blog dot com.

If you want to see some truly inspired and creative writing, visit her personal blog. Make friends with Liz and you will have a supportive and caring friend. She is truly one of a kind.
