I like Snap Preview Anywhere and Team Snap sent me an email about an intriguing new feature – so I’m installing it on my site. If you don’t like it, you should be able to simply disable it (based upon a cookie for your particular browser) by clicking here. I’m also going to add a quick little link on my sidebar so that it is there to help you turn it off after this post is long gone. Look for that link sometime next week.
In my opinion the visual link preview really helps folks decide if the mentioned site is quality and worth visiting. Heck if it’s good enough for TechCrunch, WordPress, and TypePad; it should be good enough for my little blog. I have only heard one negative comment (from one person who shall remain nameless) and I figure if I can give people that ability to turn it off if they want, well that’s just about as good as it gets! Enjoy, and feel free to comment whether you like it or don’t. Have a great weekend!
Carl, thanks for posting this. Assuming that person wants to stay anon, I have some questions for him or her.
1. If I set the cookie to NOT VIEW the images, will that work across all sites?
2. Where do I, er, that person, sign up???

Hey Jason… I think it is only on a site by site basis. But if you tell your friend to click the link that I post in the article… it should work for here.
In fact, try it and let me know. Have a super weekend!
