Now I know how Doug Kinney felt.

No wonder he wanted to clone himself.  I feel exactly the same way.  Not that it is a bad thing, it’s just that I am so dang busy that I can’t seem to get all the stuff done that I want to get done.  Recruiting business is going very well – got 3 retainers on Tuesday for 6 figure plus positions, a couple of which are a little outside my comfort zone. [Hint – anyone with great marketing research candidates or restaurant purchasing candidates, give me a shout.]

Also this week, our site finally got some movement in the magic green bar [Google Page Rank for those of you who don’t know] after months of being at zero even with several search terms hitting #1 on Google, Yahoo, and MSN, and dozens more on the first page…. so that was pretty cool.  Also have a super secret new web project going on that has taken a lot of my time.  In fact, I’ve been so busy that I haven’t had time to even look over at ItzBigBlog to read the latest installment of the Candidate Bill of Rights that I’m supposed to be commenting on.  Heck they might be on Part 6 and the last installment for me was Part 3.  And I haven’t had any time to right the next installment of my “Recruiting Myths” series.  Not to mention what is going on at the house outside of work, and projects and church and golf and poker etc., etc…..

OK, so now maybe you know how I feel… or how Doug felt.  Well, I can’t make can’t make clones [and it might not be good anyway, they got sort of stupid as more were made] but I think I can solve the problem.  And trying to solve the problem is the reason for posting the article on Recruiting.com, well that and to test the voting widget that I added to each article on my blog.

The solution — I’m looking for a few good men, or women, to participate as contributing writers on my blog.  Witty, insightful, funny, deep, pensive, controversial, whatever… Just think it would be fun to give one or more of the good folks participating on Recruiting.com a shot to guest host my blog.  Since I’m pretty new to blogging and very new to WordPress, it may take me a bit to get things set up, but I think it could be a blast.  Let me know what you think. Volunteers?
