theme to my blog<\/strong>.&nbsp; Well about this time last year, I decided to take up a cause and I <a title=\"Read the article where I as a 'newbie' staged a boycott\" href=\"https:\/\/cecsearch.com\/wordpress\/2006\/10\/27\/blog-boycott\/\">staged a blog boycott<\/a>.&nbsp; Many of the blogosphere&#8217;s most famous people and some (then) new friends came to my rescue and showed <a title=\"See a partial list of the folks who helped\" href=\"https:\/\/cecsearch.com\/wordpress\/2006\/10\/31\/boycott-over-thanks-to-everyone-the-faces-of-caring\/\">great support for the cause<\/a>.&nbsp; And this year it is even a more dear cause.&nbsp; My wife&#8217;s sister was just diagnosed with breast cancer and has surgery scheduled for this week.&nbsp; I tell you this not for sympathy, but as a reminder of how many lives this disease touches.&nbsp; Please remember, every woman who gets breast cancer is someone&#8217;s mom, sister, or daughter.<\/p>\n<p>This October, please make a donation to the cause and do something, anything that will help raise awareness.&nbsp;
